Source 4 Profile lanterns

Profile lanterns are used where a crisp beam of light is needed with no light spill. The beam angle can be changed as well as being able to change the edge from hard to soft. These lanterns can be used with gobos and colour filters to create different effects.

  • 5º, 10º, 14º, 19º, 26º, 36º, 50º, 70º and 90º field angles

Fresnel lanterns

Fresnel lanterns produce a soft beam edge of light, with a wide beam angle that is focusable. This lantern is usually used as a colour wash.

  • The Acclaim Fresnel supports beam angles from 6 to 60 degrees

 

 

 

PC Lanterns

A PC lantern is the same as a Fresnel but has a more diffused beam and a wider angle.

  • The Acclaim PC supports beam angles from 4 to 64 degrees.

Flood lights

Floods are used to produce a high powered flood of light with a very wide angle output.
