ALG have invested in a new digital mixing console which is now available for hire. The Allen and Heath iLive T80 control surface comes complete with the iDR Mix Rack 48in / 24out and digital Single cable ACE™ Surface control/audio link up to 120m.
The T-80 control surface is simply a controller for the MixRack. The console also has an audio rack built into it to conveniently provide local inputs and outputs at the mix position. These are not processed in the Surface but sent to/from the MixRack via a digital snake. The Surface features a large analogue style, one control per function processing block, TouchScreen, name and colour virtual ‘write-on’ strip, banks of motorised faders with independent layers, SoftKeys, built-in headphones, local monitor and talkback.

iLive Editor
iLive Editor is a software application for a PC/Mac laptop or touch tablet that gives you complete wired or wireless control of the iLive system. You can configure your show offline or connect online to control the mix live. The layout is intuitive and quick to learn with custom strips letting you group your channels to suit your way of working.
There are three operating modes:
Offline - Configure your iLive system, channel plot and Surface layout before your show on the plane, tour bus or in the office. Edit guest engineer Show files before transferring them to USB key to load into the iLive at the venue.
Online to MixRack and Surface – Editor adds a second ‘virtual’ control surface to the iLive system providing simultaneous control. For example, one engineer can run the FOH sound check from the Surface while another dials in the monitor mixes using the laptop on stage.
Online to MixRack only – For systems without an iLive Surface. Combine your laptop and any iLive MixRack for probably the most compact, portable and powerful 64 channel live mixing system available today. Connect a second laptop or an iPad for separate FOH/Monitor control.
iLive iPad app
iLive MixPad is an engineer’s mixing tool providing easily portable wireless mobile control for the iLive digital mixing system. It is the perfect companion to the iLive Surface or Editor, giving you the freedom to walk the room or stage and control the sound right where it is needed. It provides a very visual and intuitive multi-touch virtual control surface giving you quick access to the mix sends and channel processing, full signal metering and the ability to configure custom strip layouts to work the way you prefer.
